Child hood memories provide an endless reservoir of inspiration for most creative expressions. Two icons I have grown with, both citizens of a borderless world, have featured in several of my recent works. One exists in the celluloid world, elegantly attired, armed with the state- of- the- art gizmos and the legendary PPK Walther. 007 has turned the name BOND into an adjective. The other, in sharp contrast, performed live on stage wearing ostentatious clothing, sporting the trend- setting puff later to be replaced by the signature sideburns. There indeed was only one King of rock and roll. Both had a bevy of beautiful women lining up to shower their affections. Both were known for the Shake-one shook the pelvis , the other his martini.
